HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!
RIP, Sweet Doggies.
Yesterday our four fading senior dogs, all from the same litter, had to be helped along to the Rainbow Bridge. Born to a small shaggy homeless dog in an abandoned trailer, these pups were looked after from day one by my stepdad until he could bring them home. He tried to capture the mother dog but never could. They have been dealing with cancer and stroke issues for a while and it was finally decided that their quality of life could not be made any better. So they came into this world together, and left it peacefully together. RIP, sweet pups.

Meet the Pets: Dudley!
Dudley was a dog that we found wandering up and down the road for weeks until we finally caught him. He turned out to be a totally lovable goofball once he got over his fear of people. His fur had been a dingy yellow, but now has deepened to a nice honey color. He loves to stand on top of his doghouse and bark at the birds that sit in the  oak tree overhead.
Artist Trading Cards: Calhoun!

This is one of several ATC’s (Artist Trading Cards) I am giving to a friend. He has many rescue dogs, one of them a bloodhound named Calhoun.
If you would like a tiny portrait of your dog,cat  or other pet on an ATC, I can create them for a $5.50 donation for each card.
Guidelines:
1) Go to our “Donate” button to make a paypal donation.
2) In the notes/comments area, please list any specifics you would like for each card. ex: breed/color of dog or cat, with a red bowl, chasing a ball, sitting down, etc., or let me know if you’d like to be surprised.
3) If more specifics are needed, please email me at thepetshelterinc@gmail.com before ordering.
4) Only 1–3 animals per card, please. These are tiny, and can get cluttered easily.
